Appointments WITH A DOCTOR
Please telephone 01608 642529 or call at the
reception desk.
In order to maximise the efficiency of our surgeries we
have divided our appointments into two types. The first
are routine appointments where we have your records
available and can discuss in detail any type of problem.
These can be booked in advance and we encourage you to
use these if possible.
In addition we run 'Urgent' five minute appointments
where medical emergencies or troublesome problems which
can be quickly assessed and treated can be arranged on
the day or sometimes the day before. We would ask you
not to use these appointments for anything that can wait
until the next bookable appointment.
Although we try to minimise delays doctors often run
late. We appreciate your understanding in this respect.
Saturday Morning Surgeries
As from January 2005 the Primary Care Trust (PCT) will
take over the Out of Hours arrangements for Saturday
mornings for all practices. Under these new arrangements
a Saturday morning emergency clinic will be held in
Chipping Norton at West Street and White House Surgeries
on alternate weeks.

require a doctor on a Saturday morning please

Appointments
with the Nurse
These are booked through reception. The receptionist may
ask you to give some indication of the service required,
as the length of appointment varies according to the
nature of your problem.
Our two Health Care Assistants Chris and Annette run
clinics on weekday mornings.

If you have a problem which you feel does not require seeing a doctor or
practice nurse in person or involves a physical examination, the receptionist
would be happy to arrange a time for a telephone consultation with your doctor.
